Harvard AI and Robotics Lab is a research team directed by Mengyu Wang, PhD, which was founded by Dr. Mengyu Wang in 2017. Harvard AI and Robotics Lab strives to transform human wellbeing through the power of artificial intelligence and robotics.
We currently work in two major research areas. The first area is generative AI and large language models for general applications. The second area is AI’s applications in medicine, including medical imaging, genetics, and AI-powered smart glasses and assistive robots for individuals with visual impairments. Located in the Schepens Eye Research Institute of Massachusetts Eye and Ear, Harvard Medical School, our team has published more than 80 publications and secured more than 5 million research funding from federal and private agencies.
